It was discovered that several of the samples were stale and unfit for ingestion. Tartrazine, sunset yellow, dazzling blue, and other chemicals that can lead to several health issues were discovered in the Pani Puri sample.

The food colouring ingredient Rhodamine-B, which was used in foods including Gobi Manchurian and cotton candy, was outlawed by the Karnataka government.

How to check whether Golgappa water is adulterated or not?

Although different people produce Pani Puri water in different ways, you can easily detect adulteration if there is any form of chemical or colour added. Remember that the water would be light brown if it comes from tamarind. On the other hand, it will be dark green if the coriander is mint water.
